Madalena Silva Carlos is a Communication Designer from Portugal with a bachelor from the University of Fine Arts in Lisbon. During her studies, she moved to Milan where she studied Graphic Design and Art Direction at NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti) and began to work with photography and moving images. After graduation, in 2020, she joined Fabrica, Benetton’s Communication Research Center in Treviso, Italy for a one-year residency where she was able to work side by side with a young international team and explore contemporary forms of communication in a variety of social projects. At Fabrica, she worked in a variety of mediums and developed her work with analogue photography.
