Samuele De Marchi was born in Luino in 1981. He graduated from the University of Bologna in Musical Disciplines and later from the Academy of Digital Arts in Florence in Film Animation.

Since 2006, he has composed music for films and created experimental animations. In 2013, he launched the comic strip The Unemployed. In 2019, he founded the Kymatic Project, aiming to produce musical animations based on famous abstract paintings, drawing inspiration from Malevich’s works.

He saw geometric shapes as the perfect representation of individual musical instruments, envisioning short geometric orchestras that could be looped infinitely, bringing paintings to life. Some of these works are now part of prestigious private collections in the United States and Europe.

In 2023, he published his first novel, Il Grande Gelo.
