Michalis Efthymiou was born in Nicosia in 1980. He is a graduate of Architecture from the London South Bank University in 2010 (P.G.Dip Architecture) and University of Plymouth in 2008 (B.A. Architecture). After graduation and between 2010 and 2016 he worked in one of the highest emerging architectural offices in Cyprus, contributing in many successful competitions and working on important projects such as the Engineering School of the University of Cyprus, as well as other residential, commercial and educational purpose projects. Michalis has also been studying art since an early age. As an artist he has experimented and practiced with many styles including the combination of art and architecture. He has a small art & architecture studio in Nicosia where he experiments the connections between optical art, visual illusions and architecture.
