Eva Papamargariti (b.1987) grew up in Greece where she graduated from the Department of Architecture, University of Thessaly with a Diploma in Architecture in 2012. She graduated with an MA in Visual Communication Design at Royal College of Art, London in 2016. Her practice focuses on time-based media (digital installations, video, GIF animations) but also encompasses printed material. She is interested in the patterns and narrations that frequently form where digital and physical spaces meet. She creates of 2D and 3D rendered spaces, forms and geometries and observes the patterns that emerge when they combine. Using a variety of tools and software she explores the themes of fragmented motion, paradoxical events and spatial distortion.

Papamargariti has collaborated with design groups and brands including Diesel, Kenzo and MTV. She has exhibited her work internationally, in cities including, New York, Los Angeles, Paris, London, Berlin, Seattle, Amsterdam, Lima, Toronto, Montreal, Athens, Edinburgh among others, and in institutions museums and festivals, including at the New Museum, New York, Tate Britain, London, Museum of Moving Image, New York, MoMA PS1, New York, Museum of Contemporary Art, Montreal and Transmediale, Berlin. She has also presented work in online exhibitions, including Panther Modern, Parallelograms, ANIGIF, 15Folds, Channel Normal, The Wrong - Digital Art Biennale, Eternal Internet Brotherhood, Cloaque.org.
