Front-End Engineer
Location Europe / Remote | Type Full-Time
We are looking for a senior engineer who is an expert in JavaScript and its ecosystem. Experience with TypeScript, React and React Native would be especially useful.
At Sedition you will be working in a small cross-functional team. Your input will be highly visible and will determine overall success of the company.
What will you do
Implement well crafted UI designs using scalable and maintainable TypeScript and SCSS code
Transition existing JavaScript codebase to React and TypeScript
Help to perfect our iOS and Android React Native apps
Occasionally help with other technologies: Ruby on Rails, Tizen
Plan iterations periodically and consult on new product features
Write tests to support bug-free releases
Skills required
Expert in JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Experience with React, Redux, TypeScript
Ability to write clean, high-performance and reusable code
Knowledge of modern web app build systems, server stacks, TDD
Bonus Knowledge of other technologies we use: React Native, Ruby on Rails, Objective-C, Swift, Electron

Full Stack Engineer
Location Europe / Remote | Type Full-Time
We are looking for a generalist that is an expert in front-end and has experience with Ruby on Rails based back-end stack. Any additional experience with TypeScript, React and React Native would be very useful.
At Sedition you will be working in a small cross-functional team. Your input will be highly visible and will determine overall success of the company.
What will you do
Develop, test and release solid code in Ruby on Rails
Implement design solutions using Front-End technologies
Work together with our engineers to develop API services that support new website and mobile app features
Develop our new website features, media delivery pipeline and Open Platform
Manage weekly releases
Perform QA tasks for every release along with the team
Plan iterations periodically and consult new product features
Skills required
Ruby on Rails design patterns and best practices
Expert Ruby knowledge
Experience with React, Redux and TypeScript
HTML and CSS
TDD/BDD
Rails application security, scalability and performance
Good communication skills
Bonus Knowledge of other technologies we use: React Native, AWS, ElasticSearch, Tizen, Chromecast SDK
