From 23 June to 2 September the work of Olivier Ratsi (whose work Fragmented Plane is newly launched on Sedition) can be seen in a group exhibition which explores the relationship between humans and nature through a series of immersive journeys. The exhibition takes place at Le Tetris in Havre, France.
Paysage.Fiction presents the work of seventeen artists working in a range of media and examines the power of nature, nature’s historic role as an artistic muse, and the role of human activity in changing and damaging nature.
The exhibition has a strong interactive and sensory element and is conceived as a journey through interwoven narratives into which the visitor is immersed. The visitor travels through numerous ecosystems created, at a remove from nature but still connected to it, by artists and their technologies.
The artists exhibiting are: HeHe, Michel de Broin, Justine Emard, Laurent Pernot, Perry Hall, Jacques Perconte, Yeondoo Jung, Naïmé Perrette Gabriel Lester, Bertrand Lamarche, Mischa Daams, Quentin Euverte et Florimond Dupont, Atsunobu Kohira, David de Tscharner, Fabien Léaustic, Alice et David Bertizzolo, Claire Isorni, Momoko Seto, Atsunobu Kohira, Olivier Ratsi and Collectif Jean-Lain.
