We had the pleasure to speak with Vera-Maria Glahn and Marcus Wendt from FIELD during their exhibition Violesence at The Hospital Club in May 2015. In the interview, FIELD discusses the concept and making of their work Quasar, which are three wearable sculptures that each give a unique interactive, audiovisual virtual reality experience using Oculus Rift. Production of this new series of works involved collaborations with fashion designers, photographers and sculptors including STUDIO MAKECREATE to realise their visions of the near future through the exploration of both physical and digital environments and identities.
