During mid and late 2020 Guli Silberstein presents a number of artworks in international screenings online and offline. The screenings take place as Silberstein releases a new collection of artworks, Decomposition, on Sedition.
Silberstein’s 2018 work Field of Infinity (a 2019 adaptation of which is available on Sedition) is on display in two online and two offline screenings this year. On 22 June 2020 the work is one of 21 shortlisted artworks selected from over 1000 submissions to the Hong Kong Arthouse Film Festival. The festival takes place at the Hong Kong Arts Centre.
On 15 November Field of Infinity will be featured as part of the North Bellarine Film Festival in Victoria, Australia. This year’s programme will take place online and will run over 24 hours to ensure viewers from around the world can attend. The work will also be shown later in the year (dates TBC) at the online Seek the Sun festival and at Broken Screen, an exhibition planned to take place at La Paternal Espacio Proyecto and other spaces in Buenos Aires.
The video piece Stuff As Dreams is currently presented online at Watermans Art Centre, based in London, UK. An adaptation of the piece can be seen on Sedition, alongside Field of Dreams, as part of the Cornea collection of digital editions.
Silberstein’s 2019 work Meltdown will also be displayed online from 1-22 June as part of Experiments in Cinema, the annual screening of international experimental film in Santa Fe, USA.
