FUSION – Energy of the Stars by 
cc2 is an extraordinary collaboration that melds the intricate beauty of art with the profound depths of science. After two years of dedicated development, this project is ready to be showcased at the Planetarium Jena with a live performance on July 19th at 8 PM during the International Planetarium Society Conference.
Developed by cc2 in close partnership with the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics, FUSION ensures that its artistic interpretations are deeply rooted in scientific data. This ambitious endeavor will blend intricate sound design with mesmerizing visual elements projected onto the planetarium's dome to create a truly immersive experience. The sonic-generated visual art is made with specially designed multi-channel audio inputs. The visual geometry will be synced to the audio controls of the spatial sound wave system from the IDMT Fraunhofer Institute Ilmenau, enhancing the multidimensional impact of the performance.
For those unable to attend in person, the event will be live-streamed with 360-degree cameras, inviting collectors, friends, and partners from anywhere on the globe.
Looking ahead, the rich material from this project will lay the foundation for the third launch of cc2 on Sedition. This new edition will encapsulate the essence of FUSION, bringing the mesmerizing beauty and intricate complexity of plasma physics to a broader audience.
