This video uses the DNA data from two people, a couple, specifically the DNA they have in common. As the artist, I envision a set of colors and shapes, then the data make the detailed selections pixel by pixel.

As the patterns, outliers, and colors take shape via the data traversing the conceptual algorithms, we begin to imagine similarities otherwise not known about these two people.

The unusual color juxtapositions chosen by the data challenge cultural norms and allow us to perceive new possibilities about relationships, life, and ourselves.
