Satellite is a 3D moving image piece by Younjun Chang released as a part of a collection, Body Movements. A body figure is presented as a digital sculpture having a continuous transformation of volumetric textures. While the body remains empty, the communication between organic lines and patterns suggests the shape. The sculpture represents the characteristics of occupying the digital space in both mass and space. The gravitational relationship between the body and its movement liberates from countable weight through contraction and expansion.

Body Movements, a collection of three moving images, presents human bodies and movements captured and reimagined in digital spaces. Geometric and fragmented components in Chang’s work showcase the liminal being between the physical world and the virtual world.
