Kromatic

This was my contribution to the M.A.D.S. Gallery Milano, contemporary physical gallery located in one of the most lively areas of Milan. This video features some of my favorite fractal renders that I've made, packing as much psychedelic color as I could into 2 minutes. Rendered using Mandelbulb 3D and edited in Adobe After Effects. Fractals are infinitely complex patterns that are self-similar across different scales. They are created by repeating a simple process over and over in an ongoing feedback loop. Driven by recursion, fractals are images of dynamic systems – the pictures of Chaos. What intrigues me most about these fractal formations is that they exist naturally in mathematics. I do not create them, I simply observe them. 3840x2160 resolution, 60 frames per second
