The Wrestler/s, 2023, is inspired by the lost Greek bronze sculpture The Wrestlers (also known as The Two Wrestlers, The Uffizi Wrestlers or The Pancrastinae). This updated version emphasises the inherent sexuality and tension of that form by repeating the figure (the same model was 3D scanned in both the "top" and "bottom" positions to create the work), giving him both dominant and submissive roles. This version is digitally rendered in pink Carrara marble to give a soft, flesh like appearance to the hard stone surface.
