The photographer Pere Pascual presents a video work in which water is present in each of the pieces , which defines and groups the different visual collages where the movement of water, light, shadow and sound have equal relevance. The other essential element is undoubtedly time. Each piece is a work of time and it is the creative hand of time that has shaped each of the works. And time, we already know, is also random. But the look, of course, belongs to the realm of sensitivity. A look that wants, consciously not to be subject to any rush. In fact, all the pieces that he presents in this work could be defined as slowness added to the movement, perhaps to make this movement even more evident. Everything that stretches over time provides the opportunity for observation, for the connection of attention, for pleasant abandonment, for detachment from the moment. His images open their doors to new perceptions far removed from the banal ephemeral. In fact, in this watermark, attention is everything. "The realm of pure experience coincides with the realm of attention" ( Nishida ) and this is also a watermark of Pere Pascual. One last note about the intention of these pieces: repetition. And for this reason water, movement of light and sound also form sound pieces, of a music constructed, created by hand from a natural rumor, from a voice or several voices, alive.
