Venetian Intermission is an artwork by Olfa Farhat presented as part of Fabrica Frame Vol.2, the second collection of digital artworks created by artists taking part in the Fabrica Residency at Fabrica, the research centre set up in Treviso, Italy following the vision of Luciano Benetton and Oliviero Toscani. The launch follows the release of Fabrica's first collection, Fabrica Frame.
This 3D-built space inspired by architect Carlo Scarpa’s work depicts a utopian surreal setting between interior and exterior space, cultural heritage and contemporary modern architecture. Nature and architecture work together to create a visually warm and comforting environment reminiscent of Venetian aesthetics but lost in space and time.
