Black inc. is an abstract audiovisual work by Makoto Inoue published as a part of his collection, Liquid.
Splattered ink is oscillating and flowings in a circular form and the sound makes congruous with the movements of ink. The artwork is based on the Buddhistic thought that every phenomenon has a meaning and its own soul. From the artist’s point of view, the ink or any material has its own rhythm as distinct from humans. Black inc. is Inoue’s experiment to demonstrate what Ink’s hear and express.
