Where do your eyes go first?
We construct, cultivate our exterior framework to function as armor against the absolutely commonplace human interactions we experience daily. We push barbs and sharp edges to the surface in order to add some offensive capability to use against those who may bump into us with their own psychic mail. We burnish the surface, creating gleaming enclosures that draw admiration and inspire imitation. All of this to misdirect our audience away from the intricate underworking of self. What's more magic? The ingenuity and cleverness employed in crafting our distraction, or the effortless, unexplainable truth of who we naturally are?
