Triangles Undercover is a series of computer-generated animations by Jaap Drupsteen that show us the illusions happening in the digital space and its questionable beauty.
The artwork is serendipity created by the imperfection of digital space. Randomly moving triangular figures are configured as spatial objects in a 3d software. The artist plays with them by not giving the data for the depth. The render system does not know what to do with this inaccurate spatiality and continues to try to find depth in the virtual space. As a consequence, unpredictable openings and movements constantly appear on the screen. This is the place that a feeble construction and wrong parameters of the digital realm turn into unconventional aesthetics.
