REFLECTIONS is an audiovisual work by Jaap Drupsteen. The visual and sound components arose separately before being developed further in dialogue with each other. In musical editing software both find unity and dialogue through timing and synchrony.

The visual element of REFLECTIONS was created by manipulating artefacts caused by 'wrong' settings in 3D software. The sound feels somewhat out of control.

REFLECTIONS penetrates the mind in numerous ways, some jarring, others harmonious. This piece is about the fun of bringing two very different worlds into an impossible togetherness.
