Lily Pond

Lily Pond is inspired by the lily pond paintings of Claude Monet where colonies of lilies shining in the sun lay like pearls.

A contemporary connection is drawn by the artist by referring to social/physical distancing and the computational translation to set of instructions to safeguard a certain distance between the different elements of the composition. The piece is part of a series which explores the relationship between nature, art (history), data science and computational design.
