Constance Undisturbed is a video artwork by Enzo Roff released as a part of Shadows Imagined.
The collection was largely inspired by the works of the Danish Modernism and Expressionism movement, in particular the work of Carl Holsøe and Vilhelm Hammershøi.
Roff explores the kinetics that cannot exist in the painted image. The movement is deliberately austere, in order to draw the viewer into an almost mesmeric immersion. Questions remain in each of the three works, what has just happened and what will happen next?
As with all Roff’s work, every sequence loops seamlessly to create a constant, endless cycle.
