Sample from my upcoming project to work on analog painting techniques that are recreated with digital methods where I use code.
Here I showcase a series of sculpture frames with pastel renderings.
In these frames, a plaster sculpture of Jupiter is presented, which is deformed with subsequent imitation of pastel technique, pastel visualization is tied to the parameters of the video reference.
All work is done in real time, which generates many abstract variations.
The algorithm accepts almost any input: video, image, 3D model.
