Fractasia is one of three recent works in a series that focuses on highly colorful, abstract imagery with original music, also by this author. The work explores fractal figurations in an endlessly zooming perspective and is set to the pace of the accompanying music, which was composed before the animation.

The imagery was created using software that gives the artist a high level of control while allowing the computer to "collaborate" on the decision-making process. It was completed in 2016.
