What's the edge between definite and indefinite? What's the exact moment when we no longer recognise a shape? Are we being tricked by our brains and forced to see something in chaos? New shapes originate from entropy, creating a regenerated universe, slightly different for each one of us. Perceptions mix with memories and a single frame, every pixel of the screen gains a thousand meanings.

Digital Abstraction is a way to explore virtual randomness. It lets viewers observe the chaos and suggests new questions about it. The starting point of the project is physical drawings, made with black paint on a thin A3 paper. Faces represent one of the most ancestral symbols, looking at the audience nonjudgmentally, yet, waiting for entropy to take over. They're digitally processed reaching a point where those faces are no longer recognisable, slowly concealed by a whirling movement. Particles, gradient maps, glitches, digital noise, and filaments are shaking and moving toward the viewer. Their choreography gives depth to the scene creating a dynamic landscape, a new regenerated universe, slightly different for each one of the individuals.
