My aim was to create a silent meditation on colour -- with gentle, peaceful activity. But the two rotating layers are moving in opposition -- and each holds strips of colour which slide over each other. The eye wanders over the surface, unsure where to focus, seeking patterns of colours. Finally the layers become parallel -- then the next phase commences.
