This installation was created by me based on my painting, which I created in 2010. It depicts a stylized cult mask, in which you can distinguish both a human face and the outlines of an insect. Soon after the work on the painting was finished, very strange phenomena began to occur in my house. It is quite obvious that these events go beyond all rational explanations. For me, they became part of a new mythology around the painting, adding an additional layer of incomprehensible properties and meanings to it. The apotheosis can be the case when I returned to my home and entered the living room, I saw the following: all my music compact discs, laid out on the shelf of the cabinet before, were lying on the floor, and one of them stood apart in a his box on the edge at a distance of about one meter from the cabinet. It was the album "DUALITY" of the group DEAD CAN DANCE. On the cover was the wand of Hermes. It was definitely someone's message! At the same time, there was no one in the house except me, I lived alone! I decided to breathe new life into this art and created an audio-visual quadriptych based on it in the form of four elements cards. In this dynamic art space, the revived mask in four colorful hypostases embodies four natural elements, which are in continuous and tense psycho-energetic interaction. Within the framework of their mythologeme, the elemental images exchange synesthetic replicas and generate dynamic tensions, dragging us into their sporadic ritual dance.
